We are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers for a client based on Cheltenham.

Your primary responsibility will be to support NDIS participants living with a disability in their private homes. This role is perfect for someone with a person-centered approach, who is energetic and excited to make a difference in people’s lives and is passionate about the work they do.

Shifts Details:
2 Hours shift ( Monday & Friday)

3 Hours Shift (Wednesday & Saturday).

All the shifts are ongoing.

Eligibility criteria of Support Worker:
Minimum of 6 months experience in Disability
A relevant qualification in Disability or Aged Care or Individual Support will be an added advantage
Two relevant, skilled and industry related reference checks.
Must be willing to provide or obtain a Victorian Working with Children’s Check for employment purposes.
Must be willing to provide or obtain a NDIS worker screening check
Have a current or be willing to obtain a First Aid (HLTAID003 or HLTAID004) and CPR (HLTAID001) certificate.

Responsibility of Support Worker:




Supporting the client with exploring outdoors.
Help client with building life skills and social skills.
Provide assistance with personal care tasks
Help client to develop communication skills and outdoor activities.
Adhering to company policies and procedures

Support Worker needs to have:
Current relevant qualification.
First Aid Certificate
Eligibility To Work in Australia
Working With Children Certificate
Driver's License
Car Insurance Details
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
Police Check (Fit to work is fine)

Job Types: Part time, Casual

Salary: From $35.00 per hour
