About the Role

Blenners Transport is seeking a motivated Trades Assistant to join our workshop team at the Brisbane depot. This role is ideal for someone with a genuine interest in mechanics who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You’ll assist qualified mechanics with servicing and repairs, help maintain fleet readiness and contribute to a safe and organised workshop.

Key Responsibilities
Assist mechanics with servicing and repairs of fleet vehicles
Ensure vehicles are available and moved into the workshop as needed
Maintain workshop cleanliness and organisation
Book out parts used on jobs to specific vehicles
Report hazards and follow WHS procedures
Participate in toolbox meetings and training sessions
Role Requirements
Completion of Year 10 with sound results in Maths and English
Experience in a transport or workshop environment (highly regarded)
Driver’s licence
Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
Solid work ethic, physical fitness, and willingness to learn
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use tools safely
