With cricket season rapid approaching, we are seeking enthusiastic and dependable casual Chefs and Cooks to support and elevate food preparation and service at The Gabba. As part of our kitchen team, you’ll work across a variety of areas, from food preparation to high-end functions.

Successful applicants will have the opportunity to join our casual food preparation team (day shifts) and support our kitchen operations on event days (night shifts).

You will also have the option to pick up additional hours at our other Southeast Queensland venues, including Suncorp Stadium and People First Stadium.

To be successful, you will have:




1+ years’ experience in commercial kitchens or event catering
The ability to take direction and work collaboratively
HACCP food safety knowledge
Robust ability to work under pressure in rapid-paced settings
Confidence working with limited supervision
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
