Position Type : Full-Time
Salary : $75,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation per annum
Location : West End QLD
Our client Le Foodlicious Pty Ltd, located in the heart of West End, Brisbane is looking for a qualified cook to join their team.
They pride themselves on authentic flavours, fresh ingredients, and a warm, team-oriented kitchen.
Staff work collaboratively and are driven by a passion for quality food and great service.
Your job duties will include, but not limited to, the following :
Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes from our menu according to established recipes and standards
Examine cooked and uncooked food on a regular basis
Ensuring all dishes are presented to the highest standards
Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
Collaborating with the kitchen team to deliver a seamless service
Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
Inventory management and ordering of supplies
Occasionally assisting with menu development or catering orders.
Requirements :
Must be trade qualified in Cert III Commercial Cookery or higher
Must have at least three (3) years of full time experience as a Cook or relevant experience
Familiar with Asian / Vietnamese cuisines is highly preferred
Cool under pressure and excited by a challenging fast paced setting
To lead by example and be very hands on
Solid level of attention to detail and consistency
Understanding of Australian food safety standards
Maintaining hygiene in the kitchen.
