Trainee Underground Truck Operator

Role Details
Reporting to the Underground Supervisor, you will operate underground haul trucks safely and efficiently, meeting operational requirements.
This role follows an 8 days on/6 days off, 7 nights on/7 nights off roster and is FIFO from Perth or DIDO from local surrounding communities.

Responsibilities
Ensure Zero Harm is achieved by actively identifying and reporting hazards using the site hazard reporting system
Attend all designated rostered days, arrive fit for work and punctually for shift start times
Work collaboratively with other team members
Demonstrate excellent housekeeping standards. Ensure awareness of location within the mine and radio calls are maintained to ensure a continual smooth truck cycle is maintained.
Attend all pre-starts and report all activities accurately to Pitram including loading location and nature of material
Qualifications
Valid WA C Class licence (minimum requirement)
High commitment to safety in the workplace
Interest in commencing a career within the mining industry
Exposure to machinery and care of mobile mechanical equipment would be an asset
Apply First Aid ticket is desirable
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
