Senior Associate 4+ PQE (Commercial Litigation) Kennedys Sydney, Recent South Wales, Australia Senior Associate role in commercial litigation practice based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane.
Working closely with Partners Raylee Hartwell and Matt Andrews and a wider team of experienced Lawyers, you will primarily handle an interesting multi-party Federal Court litigation that has reached the discovery phase.
The focus is in the insurance and trade credit space, involving close collaboration with our international offices (London).
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced lawyer to further develop hands-on technical exposure to the fast-paced world of commercial litigation while taking on greater responsibility and mentoring junior team members.

Who We Are Looking For 4+ years PQE, from a reputable commercial litigation team Federal Court litigation experience Prior trade credit exposure desirable E-litigation or discovery experience Leadership qualities and ability to mentor junior lawyers Proven ability to manage complex matters with minimal supervision Robust communication skills, written and verbal, are essential Methodical and organised file management approach Ability to manage own time, with excellent organisation skills and attention to detail High level of professionalism and integrity; displaying the highest standard of qualified ethics Self-motivated and enthusiastic with a genuine desire to further your career at Kennedys *Where a level of experience is indicated, this is a guideline only and represents the amount of time we would usually expect a candidate to accumulate the requisite level of experience.
