Job Description

At Bright Sun Homes, we offer professional tiling services for kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, and commercial properties. Whether it’s ceramic, porcelain, or luxury marble, our skilled team ensures precise and beautiful tile installation that lasts. We provide our services in Melbourne metropolitan area as well as regional Victoria.

We are growing and looking for a skilled and experienced Wall and Floor Tiler to join our team. If you’re passionate about craftsmanship and ready to work on a steady pipeline of projects, we’d like to hear from you!

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

· Prepare wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout, and adhesive, filling holes and cracks, and cleaning surfaces.

· Spread adhesive and lay ceramic, clay, slate, marble, and glass tiles on internal and external walls and floors.

· Use tile-cutting tools to cut and shape tiles for edges, corners, and around fixtures and pipes.





· Ensure tiles are correctly aligned, spaced, and level.

· Apply grout, clean off excess, and finish tiled surfaces to a high standard.

· Applying waterproofing systems where required.

· Lay decorative or mosaic patterns when needed.

Qualifications and other requirements

· Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling or equivalent, or relevant experience in lieu of formal qualification.

· Minimum 1 year of full-time experience (or equivalent) as a Wall and Floor Tiler.

· Strong skills in tile cutting, setting, grouting, and finishing.

· Ability to read and work from plans.

· Valuable understanding of waterproofing and tiling standards in Australia.

· High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
