JOB SUMMARY

Maintenance Officer – Aged Care at Bolton Clarke (Parramatta). Permanent part‑time role, Tuesdays to Thursdays, 7:00 am‑3:00 pm.

Reporting to the General Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and undertake inspection & delivery of statutory, preventative & corrective maintenance of the facility.
Provide supervision and coordination of site contractors.
Ensure an aesthetic, compliant and secure working environment.
Maintain property elements: cleaning, painting, lighting, TV installations, hanging paintings, disposal of rubbish, air‑conditioner checks, tiling, basic plumbing, furniture removal, and other general repairs.
Execute planned maintenance of Home assets according to the Maintenance Plan and legislative requirements.
Ensure all maintenance activity complies with legislation.
Work with preferred suppliers, staying within budget and following workflow procedures.
Carry‑out scheduled tasks within agreed timelines.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar maintenance role.
Experience in contractor management.
Experience in managing site maintenance budgets, work orders and requisitions.
Ability to work effectively within a team workplace.
Knowledge & application of relevant legislation, codes & standards.
Moderate computer literacy.
OHS White Card.
Current driver's licence.
Pre‑employment medical assessment required.

The successful applicant must complete a National Police Check and may need to complete an NDIS Worker Screen.
