Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of catering operations, including event planning, menu creation, and execution.
- Manage and mentor catering staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored event solutions.
- Maintain inventory, control costs, and ensure adherence to budgets.
- Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with regulations.
- Be across team coaching & development
- Collaborate will multiple departments
- Ensuring that our catering spaces run smoothly each day, including adequate roster covering and replacing leave.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (5 years) in a managerial role within the hospitality or catering industry and Certificate IV in Hospitality/Leadership
- Robust leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
- Restaurant management in a large organisation
- Exceptional organizational and communication abilities.
- A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Proficiency in budgeting and resource management.
- Relevant qualifications in hospitality management or a related field are preferred.
- RSA & RCG
- To be available from open until close of dining, (inclusive of early mornings, afternoons, and evenings) 7 days of the week, including public holidays due to business requirements.
- The ability to develop strong working relationships, whilst at times being a great negotiator
