National Account Manager - Corporate Grocery

Connect APAC is proud to be partnering with a leading food brand with strong heritage, responsible for sourcing some of the finest produce globally.

This role will be responsible for Coles & Woolworths, reporting directly into the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). You will have full P&L; responsibility for your customers with the strategic goal of growing the business and improving partnership at each level through Joint Business Plans (JBP/JCP), range reviews and promo strategy.

Responsibilities

- Ensure the achievement of key business KPI’s – Volume, Net Sales, Discount Management. Lead negotiations with customers across all commercial metrics, including promotional programs, pricing & assortment, to achieve objectives.
- Lead the development and execution of joint business plans. Lead the category review process, ensuring the voice of the customer is heard, in collaboration with Category, Trade and Brand Marketing teams.
- Own your customer P&L.;
- Be a key player in strategic planning. Apply your experience and understanding of the customer, retailer’s strategy and category needs. Identify and prioritise opportunities for future business development in partnership with the customer.
- Lead the customer forecast.



Leverage customer systems and market performance data to maintain the demand plan with high accuracy.
- Participate in annual country budget planning. Define volumes and customer P&L; objectives, review innovation and promotion plans, and define investments in line with category guidelines.
- Build an effective network of relationships. Develop and maintain strong, strategic relationships at multiple levels within the customer. Manage and develop internal business relationships across Marketing, Supply and Finance teams.

Experience required

- Experience working within FMCG/Consumer Goods.
- Experience with Coles/Woolworths is ideal but not mandatory.
- Category experience or data source experience (IRI/Circana, Nielsen, Quantium) is preferred.
