JOB SUMMARY

Maintenance Officer – Aged Care at Bolton Clarke (Parramatta). Permanent part‑time role, Tuesdays to Thursdays, 7:00 am‑3:00 pm.

- Reporting to the General Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage and undertake inspection & delivery of statutory, preventative & corrective maintenance of the facility.
- Provide supervision and coordination of site contractors.
- Ensure an aesthetic, compliant and safe working workplace.
- Maintain property elements: cleaning, painting, lighting, TV installations, hanging paintings, disposal of rubbish, air‑conditioner checks, tiling, basic plumbing, furniture removal, and other general repairs.
- Execute planned maintenance of Home assets according to the Maintenance Plan and legislative requirements.
- Ensure all maintenance activity complies with legislation.
- Work with preferred suppliers, staying within budget and following workflow procedures.
- Carry‑out scheduled tasks within agreed timelines.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar maintenance role.
- Experience in contractor management.
- Experience in managing site maintenance budgets, work orders and requisitions.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Knowledge & application of relevant legislation, codes & standards.
- Moderate computer literacy.
- OHS White Card.
- Current driver's licence.
- Pre‑employment medical assessment required.

The successful applicant must complete a National Police Check and may need to complete an NDIS Worker Screen.
