Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties. You will diagnose issues, provide recommendations, and ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and plumbing systems.
- Diagnose plumbing problems and provide effective solutions.
- Install and service water heaters, gas systems, drainage systems, and sewer lines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Measure, cut, bend, and thread pipes using proper tools and machinery.
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure proper functioning.
- Perform blocked drain clearing using tools such as snakes, augers, and jetting equipment.
- Install/repair toilets, sinks, taps, dishwashers, garbage disposals, and other fixtures.
- Work alongside contractors, builders, and other tradespeople.
- Prepare accurate reports, job sheets, and invoices.




- Follow all safety standards, building codes, and compliance regulations.

Skills & Qualifications

- Valid plumbing or gas fitting licence (where required).
- Proven experience as a plumber in residential or commercial environments.
- Knowledge of water supply, drainage, gas, and waste systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot effectively.
- Strong understanding of safety and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Valuable physical fitness and ability to handle manual work.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

- Backflow prevention certification.
- Experience with CCTV drain inspection equipment.
- Gas fitting endorsement.
- Experience in renovation, hot water systems, or new builds.
- On-site work at residential, commercial, and construction locations.
- May require on-call or after-hours emergency work.
- Company vehicle and tools provided (depending on employer).

Salary Range (Australia – Guide Only)

- AU$65,000 – AU$90,000 per year (depending on experience).
- Higher for licensed plumbers or those with gas fitting & backflow certification.
