Project Analyst – Customer Experience

Location: Bayside Council, Sydney, NSW, Australia

Permanent full‑time, 35 hours per week, 9‑day fortnight (opt‑in).

About the Role

Provide project analytics and implementation support to the Customer Experience Unit for the implementation of the Council’s Customer Experience Strategy and other key initiatives. This includes assessing, analysing, prioritising requests, facilitating optimal project delivery, reporting progress and sustaining the support on future council initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide support to the Projects Lead – Customer Experience by contributing to planning, development and implementation of the strategy and cultural change projects.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, briefs, contracts and coordinate resources effectively, keeping accurate documentation.
- Source, collate and compile data to identify emerging issues and report on project progress.
- Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to stakeholders, adjusting communication style for different audiences.
- Design solutions that address real customer and organisational problems.
- Work collaboratively with business units across the organisation to help achieve business unit goals, manage work requests,



demands and Council priorities.
- Prepare, coordinate and review high‑level communications (briefs, emails, correspondence).
- Undertake data analysis of customer service data to identify trends and quantify opportunities to improve experience, supporting decision‑making and transformation.
- Assist with due diligence, governance, risk mitigation, reporting and evaluation throughout the project lifecycle.

About You

- Ability to manage self, prioritise tasks and commitment to learning.
- Experience delivering customer‑focused projects within a similar industry.
- Results‑driven and problem‑solving mindset.
- Strong project management skills, applying effective planning, coordinating and control methods.
