- Salary $43,024.80 to $49,280.40 p/a + super
- Fixed Term Full Time Contract – Up to 18 months

About the role

Are you passionate about supporting young children in their early learning journey? Are you looking to start your career in early childhood education?

Council is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Trainee Early Childhood Educator to join our dynamic team!

As a Trainee Early Childhood Educator, you will gain valuable hands‑on experience while working alongside experienced educators in a supportive, inclusive, and nurturing environment.

You will actively contribute to the development and implementation of engaging, fun, and educational activities for children aged 0-5 years, helping them build essential skills for their future.

You will also undertake a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, where you’ll learn the key skills needed to become a qualified educator.

and the opportunity to work in a well‑established and respected team.

Responsibilities

- Assist in the planning and delivery of educational programs for young children
- Support the emotional, social, and physical development of children
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment
- Work collaboratively with other educators and staff members
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for children
- Contribute to building robust relationships with families

Qualifications, skills & experience

- Completion of Higher School Certificate
- Commitment to complete the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care qualification
- Working with Children clearance number
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work in a diverse team environment
