We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Supervisor to join our team in Traralgon,Vic (local base). In this hands‑on leadership role, you'll oversee the maintenance and performance of critical mechanical systems, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of mechanical technicians and contractors
- Supervise mechanical maintenance of turbines, boilers, pumps, and auxiliary systems
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and procurement teams
- Support asset reliability and plant performance improvements
- Contribute to long‑term site transition and decommissioning planning
What We're Looking For
- Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Graduate Mechanical Engineering
- Knowledge in heavy industrial, mining, trade or power generation environments
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Sound knowledge of OHS regulations and safe work practices
- Proficiency with maintenance systems
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities
