Tennis For Kids is an innovative company that specialises in the delivery of Hot Shots tennis coaching to primary school children. At Tennis For Kids, we are dedicated to fostering a love for tennis at the grassroots level by helping children establish healthy and lasting connections with sports. Our mission is to make tennis available to every child through high quality, values-based tennis programs conducted right at their primary schools. We coach on location across 30+ primary school locations in Brisbane and we're proudly supported by our Official Ambassador, former World No.1 Ash Barty!
About the role
Ready to serve up some fun? Tennis for Kids is looking for Casual Tennis Instructors to join our team and bring the excitement of tennis to kids across Brisbane primary schools!
Responsibilities
- Adaptable shifts on weekdays (7am-8:30am or 3pm-5pm) with a minimum commitment of 5 sessions per week.
- We will aim to match you with schools near your home or within a short 15–20 minute drive.
- No prior coaching experience? No problem! We will provide a comprehensive training program to help you feel confident and ready to teach.
- Full autonomy in your role. We provide all equipment.
Compensation
Pay ranges from $30-$45 per hour based on your experience, plus performance-based bonuses at the end of each term.
Qualifications
- Tennis playing background with at least 1-2 years of tennis experience.
- Valid Australian work rights (including visa if not citizen/permanent resident).
- Reliable car to transport yourself and gear; must have or obtain a Blue Card.
- Passion for sharing sport with kids, strong communication skills, and energy.
