Field Project Engineer (FIFO)
Brunel is presently recruiting a Field Project Engineer / Construction Engineer to join the Construction Management Owners Team; forming a key delivery component of the Project through execution of the new and upgraded Onshore Facilities. The role requires availability until March 2026, 14:14 roster from Perth.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Project Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for the safe and timely execution of construction and pre‑commissioning activities.
- Support the Delivery Team through completion and safe execution of the Civils & Underground (CUG) and Above Ground Installation (AGI) scope by the execution contractors, through remaining construction, construction completion & pre‑commissioning and commissioning support.
- Ensure safe and quality execution of the scope whilst managing within cost and schedule expectations.
- Work closely with construction contractors and LNG plant operations to assist in managing SIMOPs, permit to work and interface requirements.
- Liaise with support functions including Contracts, Logistics, Materials Management and Project Controls to manage progress of the CUG and AGI scopes, and proactively identify and resolve potential issues to meet project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalence with extensive experience within this field.
- Previous experience in a Construction Engineering role – preferably including electrical packaged equipment installation and pre‑commissioning/commissioning.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work well with both Construction Contractors and Asset Operations.
- Experience working in a Construction Environment, Capital Projects and brownfield exposure is beneficial.
- Proven ability to prioritise and help the Construction Team succeed.
