About the role:
- Depending on your preference, caseload may include speech, language, social communication, fluency (stuttering), literacy and feeding/swallowing, AAC
- Multidisciplinary clinic based in Berkeley Vale. We understand the importance of collaborating with other disciplines, therefore we have an occupational therapist also working in our space, and will aim to expand this in 2026 (e.g. physios, dietitians)
- Work part time or full time depending on your preferences
- Option to work from home via telehealth services, to work around your life
- A full caseload available upon starting
- Prospect to be clinic or mobile based (or both)
- Lots of flexibility. We can tailor your schedule around you and your life
- Regular 1:1 supervision meetings, mentoring and support, weekly Zoom study groups (between our Sydney and Central Coast teams - alternating between 1. general peer mentoring/client discussions and 2. a focus on paediatric feeding, hosted by an external paediatric feeding Speech Pathologist (attendance optional). Ongoing professional development and training provided

About us:
- Our two unique clinics are located in Berkeley Vale on the Central Coast, and on Sydney's Northern Beaches
- Our Central Coast clinic is fitted out with everything you will need to provide incredible therapy for your clients, including a sensory/play gym and themed therapy rooms (e.g. jungle, digger trucks, beach and under the sea)
- We are a team of eight fabulous speech pathologists (four in Sydney, four on the Central Coast - with a plan to continue growing!).
- We are fun,
laid-back, and enjoy lots of play-based sessions with our kids, catered to their needs. You will often see our therapists running sessions on the floor in the waiting room, on the stairs (that goes to our second level), down the hallway, outside playing in the dirt or planting succulents in our front garden by the entrance. Whatever works best for the child!
- We provide highly specialised services to complex cases in the field of disability, such as those living with cerebral palsy, other brain injuries and rare genetic syndromes
- We love working with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and technology (e.g. eye gaze/Neuronode), so you will have the opportunity for training in this area
- We are one of the few private practices in Australia who use Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation and sEMG biofeedback in the treatment of dysphagia (VitalStim Plus)
- We offer expertise, compassion, empathy and understanding when providing services to help bridge the gap between ineffective and effective communication and feeding skills
- A gentle giant fur baby roams our rooms, Jason The Great (aka one of our speech therapist's greyhounds)
About you:
- You have a Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Speech Pathology
- You are a SPA member with CPSP status, have your WWCC, police check, and current CPR certification (or able to get)
- You have current Professional Indemnity insurance (or able to get)
- You are fun, playful and have a positive outlook
- You are a keen learner and enjoy ongoing training and professional development
- You can work autonomously and show initiative
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills for rapport building
- You have demonstrated experience in the assessment and treatment of a paediatric caseload
- You love a challenge and trying new things
- AAC and/or feeding experience preferable but not essential as we can provide training in these areas
