The b kinder foundation is a heart-led national charity transforming lives through early intervention programs in schools, workplaces, and communities. Our mission is to reduce mental health challenges, bullying, and suicide by inspiring young people to be kinder, more compassionate humans. We are not just about feel-good moments. We are about real cultural change, creating kinder schools, workplaces, councils, and ultimately, a kinder world.
With 39 b kinder schools across Australia and exciting new initiatives like b kinder workplaces and b kinder councils, we are growing and we need a passionate and experienced coordinator to help take us to the next level.
About the Role
As our National Charity Coordinator, you will work side-by-side with our CEO. This role is perfect for someone who wants to drive meaningful social change while balancing purpose and lifestyle. AsNational Charity Coordinator, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the foundation, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with our strategic goals. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to help guide our team, coordinate resources effectively, and foster robust relationships with our schools and community.
This role includes occasional national travel to attendb kinderwkshops and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Coordination: Mentor and support our small, dedicated team of staff and volunteers.
- Community & Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, volunteers, community partners, schools, and media.
- Program Development: Grow and strengthenb kinderprograms and initiatives across schools, workplaces,
and councils.
- Operations Management: Oversee digital platforms, administration, and logistical requirements.
- Fundraising: Support fundraising initiatives and identify new revenue streams, including grants, partnerships, and donations.
Experience and Skills
- Ability to coordinate and oversee the operations of a busy, expanding charity.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while effectively supporting and motivating teams to achieve shared goals.
- Experience in fundraising, grant writing, and partnership development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with schools, workplaces, donors, and the public.

- A compassionate and empathetic communication style.
- A genuine passion forb kinder’smission and vision, with the motivation to help expand our reach and amplify our impact.
- Experience working with primary and secondary schools or educational institutions.
