UGL's Utilities Operations & Maintenance team is excited to offer an opportunity to join our University of Queensland (UQ) Electrical Maintenance Contract on a casual, part-time basis. Based on-site at UQ's vibrant St Lucia campus, this role is perfect for a highly skilled and innovative individual who thrives in process improvement, data management, and leveraging the full suite of MS platforms to automate workflows.
We are seeking a Data Entry Officer to be based at UQ (University of Queensland) Site Office, Corner of Sir Fred Schonell Dr & Walcott St, St Lucia, QLD 4067. Office hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM. Flexible schedule - Minimum of 3 full days per week, with the potential for up to 5 days depending on workload and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- As part of our dynamic and dedicated team, you’ll contribute to supporting our Emergency Lighting Program through:
- Developing and improving reporting systems and processes.
- Working with data and coding to automate workflows and ensure efficiency.
- Assisting with day-to-day data management and administrative tasks.
- Problem-solving and providing new solutions for ongoing process improvement.
Ideal attributes:
- Expertise in process development, data management, and automation.
- Experience using the Microsoft Office suite, including coding and developing workflows within MS platforms such as Power Automate, Excel, and Power BI.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
