We are seeking a diligent and safety-focused Gold Room Operator to join our processing team in Tennant Creek. In this role, you’ll perform critical tasks in the secure handling, processing, and reconciliation of gold-bearing materials. From operating smelting equipment and performing gravity circuit checks to maintaining accurate gold room documentation, you’ll ensure the highest standards of integrity, compliance, and security are upheld.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor gold room and elution equipment, including smelting furnaces, electrowinning cells, and gravity circuits.
- Safely handle gold-bearing materials in line with strict security and compliance procedures.
- Perform gold pours, bar cleaning, weighing, and secure packaging.
- Maintain accurate production, reconciliation, and movement records.
- Conduct routine housekeeping and ensure all equipment is clean and operational.
- Follow all safety, environmental, metallurgical, and security requirements.
- Support processing and metallurgy teams with sampling, circuit checks, and general plant tasks where required.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in gold room operations, processing plants, or minerals processing (crushing, grinding, CIP/CIL).
- Robust attention to detail, integrity, and ability to follow strict procedures.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy (processing systems, production reporting tools).
- Forklift licence desirable.
- Ability to pass stringent pre-employment medicals and security checks.
- A safety-first, team-oriented approach.
