East Narrogin is nestled on Wiilman Boodja within the Wheatbelt community of Narrogin.
The name Narrogin is derived from the Noongar word Gnarojin which means place of water.
Our school provides primary education for Kindergarten to Year 6 students drawn from within the town and outlying areas.
We provide a safe, inclusive learning environment with a focus on the wellbeing of each child.
The Chaplain and the Aboriginal and Islander Education Officer (AIEO) are an integral part of our school community, working to strengthen links between families, the local community and the school.

The Role As a Mainstream Education Assistant, you will assist in the delivery of planned education programs that will help in the development of young minds.
In this role you will collaborate and work in a team environment.
Education Assistants will ideally possess good written, oral and interpersonal communication skills to enable the implementation of individual or small group programs, as well as the ability to support the general health and well-being of students.
You will ideally be organised and be able to use your initiative to assist with the preparation and maintenance of the learning environment.
Working under teacher direction in a diverse role, you would also provide support to ensure the learning environment is inclusive and relevant with the health and safety of students being a high priority.
Managing student behaviour in accordance with school policies and programs is an important aspect of this role.
