About the Role
CareSouth is looking for a permanent, full time Caseworker tojoin our team in Wagga Wagga.

As a Caseworkeryou will be a part of a team which works dynamically across thechild protection spectrum, from family preservation, permanencysupport, restoration and adoption.
What you need to be successful in your role
- Demonstrate a commitment to the safety of children, youngpeople and people with a disability.
- Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Diploma in SocialSciences / Social Welfare or equivalent or working towards
- Demonstrated understanding of the issues facing vulnerablechildren and their families.
- Sound interpersonal, facilitation and conflict resolutionskills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as a part of a highperforming team.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain effectivecommunity networks.
- Demonstrated high level verbal and written communicationskills.Understanding and commitment to Equal EmploymentOpportunity, Work Health and Safety, Cultural issues and theNSW Child Protection system.
- Willing to undergo a National Police Clearance and obtain a(NSW) Working with Children Check clearance number and/or (ACT)Working with Vulnerable People Card.
