School Information
Campbell House School is a School for Specific Purposes located in Glenfield, supporting 63 students in Years 7–12 from across South West Sydney. The school provides intensive learning support for students with diagnosed mental health conditions (ILS‑MH classification). Most students come from low socio‑economic backgrounds, with 20–35% identifying as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and 15–32% living in statutory out‑of‑home care. Students have normal cognitive ability but require support due to emotional, behavioural, or mental health needs, and many have experienced disrupted schooling.
The school delivers a differentiated mainstream curriculum focused on literacy, numeracy, and vocational skills through trauma‑informed, strengths‑based, and restorative practices. Small classes, high staff‑to‑student ratios, and access to specialist and wellbeing staff ensure personalised pathways for every learner. Partnerships with Hilltop Schools, TAFE, local businesses, and community agencies enhance learning and transition opportunities. The School Excellence Plan prioritises growth in literacy and numeracy, high‑quality teaching, improved attendance, transitions, and wellbeing practices.
