About Us
St. Sebastian’s Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is a welcoming part of the St. Sebastian’s Parish and Primary School community. We care for up to 60 children, building meaningful relationships and offering engaging programs before and after school and during vacation.
Responsibilities
- Support primary school‑aged children in a safe, happy, and engaging setting.
- Deliver creative, fun, and developmentally appropriate activities.
- Help foster a nurturing and supportive community where children can learn, grow, and have fun.
Job Requirements
- Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or working towards) or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines (desirable but not essential).
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
- A passion for the education and care of school‑aged children in a play‑based environment.
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning Framework and national law/regulations (or ability to acquire).
- Effective oral and written communication within the workplace.
