Overview
GR Employment Ltd is looking for a Class 1 driver to work for one of our clients based in Newcastle. You will be handling small parcels, and this is a temporary placement.
Shifts
Monday to Friday, various day shifts available. You will be doing collections and deliveries. Typical shift: 10:00 am – 6:45 pm.
Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle checks and maintain the cleanliness of the cab.
- Ensure the load is correctly secured before driving.
- Perform collections and deliveries as required.
Qualifications
- Valid UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
- Digital Tachograph Card and CPC qualification
- Minimum 12 months experience for Class 1
- Professional at all times with a flexible approach to work
- No more than 3 points on licence
- No INI10, TT99 or DR10
Pay
Pay rate: £15.28 per hour (overtime £24.54)
