Swimming Instructor – The Y NSW
Join our Recreation Team at The Y NSW. As a Swimming Instructor at Ku-ring-gai Fitness and Aquatic Center, you'll lead safe, stimulating, and always‑fun lessons that build confidence and capability in young people.
In this role, you will:
- Lead safe, stimulating and fun swimming lessons for children.
- Assist Swimming Coordinators in creating lesson plans.
- Interact with parents and take part in school swimming lessons and birthday parties.
- Communicate clearly and motivate guests to build solid, active and safe behaviours in the water.
If you are a safety‑conscious 'Aqua Expert' with strong people skills and infectious energy, you could be our next Swimming Instructor. We offer flexible hours, free facility membership and support to build valuable people, leadership and life skills.
Required Qualifications
- CPR Certificate
- Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety License
- Working with Children Check
- Police Check (paid for by the Y)
