Aquatic Senior Pool Attendant – Careers at Council
Location: Queanbeyan, New South Wales
Salary: $1,220.46 – $1,348.64 gross per week + 12% super (Grade 5, QPRC Salary System 2025)
Full time – 38 hours per week. Flexible work hours may be considered.
Job Description
Looking to make a splash in your career? The Aquatics team is looking for a passionate lifeguard to help supervise and run our pools all year round.
In This Role You Will
- Supervise guests to ensure they enjoy the facilities safely, while staying alert to provide emergency assistance when required.
- Help keep the facilities clean and well presented, creating a welcoming space for everyone.
- Deliver quality customer service and offer helpful advice to enhance each guest's experience.
- Ensure protected and clean water by conducting daily chemical filtration and plant operation equipment testing.
We Are Looking For Someone Who
- Previous work experience in a similar role and/or environment.
- Has obtained their Royal Life Saving Pool Lifeguard Certificate, Advanced First Aid Certificate and current NSW Working with Children Check.
- Proven ability to provide excellent customer service and care.
- Excellent time management skills, to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
