We are recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to work for a growing organisation with an excellent reputation. This organisation has over 40 years’ experience, providing Allied Health services. This role would be covering the Wollongong area and would be a generalist position, carrying a varied caseload (majority NDIS).
Details Of The Role
- Salary ranging from $80-100k – dependent on experience
- Work in the Wollongong area
- Full Time or Part time (3+ days per week)
- Permanent role
- Manageable caseload with support and training
- Role would be working across Aged Care and the NDIS area
- Work closely with the rest of the Occupational Therapy team, as well as other allied health practitioners
- Support and training provided
- Hybrid role
About the organisation
This organisation has been providing Allied Health services across NSW for over 40 years. They take pride in their work and have a supportive work culture with training and development opportunities. You will have access to the Clinical Lead as well as your Team leader, weekly team meetings, peer supervision as well as quarterly training.
Duties
- Plan, deliver and evaluate Occupational Therapy services to NDIS participants which help them achieve their NDIS goals.
- Work with older people to ensure they can remain living independently in their own home
- Carry out various assessments – Functional Capacity, Home Assessments etc.
- Support NDIS participants’ inclusion and participation in the community
- Carry out assessments and prescribe equipment
- Provide services and supports in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Participate in regular professional development opportunities to keep up with current developments
- Fulfil administrative requirements such as data collection and note taking
- When assigned, supervise and train assistants, volunteers and students, ensuring the maintenance of professional, clinical, ethical and safety standards
Requirements
- We require you to have a university degree in Occupational Therapy and full AHPRA registration
- Driving License and car
