Overview
Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) invites applications for a Pharmacy Technician Grade 1/2 at the Nepean Mental Health Centre. The role ensures the safe, efficient, and effective distribution of pharmaceuticals within mental health wards and departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Distribute prescribed pharmaceuticals to mental health wards and departments.
- Assist in the preparation of non‑sterile products.
- Dispense prescriptions and perform associated clerical duties.
- Maintain smooth, compliant operations within a busy environment.

Qualifications and Experience
- Completed a qualification recognised by the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia or up to Certificate III (Hospital and community Pharmacy) or equivalent.
- Certificate Level IV Pharmacy Technician Certificate Course or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a busy environment and manage time.
- Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Previous Australian Hospital Pharmacy experience preferred.
