Position Information
Picton High School has 1,180 students including 10% Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and 3% EAL/D background. The school has eleven support classes for 70 students with identified learning needs. Located south west of Sydney between Camden and Mittagong, the school serves a regional community with seven primary schools. Approximately 100 teachers and support staff deliver a quality education.
Specific Selection Criteria
- Approval to teach mathematics 7-12.
- Demonstrated capacity to contribute to a positive faculty culture with emphasis on quality outcomes for all students.
- Demonstrated ability to create and maintain protected and challenging learning environments through classroom management skills and effective communication.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively as a team, including collaboration on whole school programs.
Conditions
Unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement.
