About the Role
As a member of Barwon Health’s Food Services team, you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality meal services to patients, visitors, and staff, ensuring adherence to dietary requirements and maintaining a clean, efficient work environment.
- Deliver meals across wards during dinner and supper service.
- Ensure food preferences, intolerances, allergies, and diet codes are strictly followed.
- Clean kitchenettes and maintain hygiene standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary setting.
- Comply with Barwon Health’s Food Safety Plan, completing necessary documentation.
- Work evening shifts, typically from 4:30–8:30 pm, with occasional 3:00 pm starts.

Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region.
