Occupational Therapist – Western Sydney

Our team at Ability Action Australia is expanding and we are looking for an Occupational Therapist in the Western Sydney area. Full‑time or part‑time roles are available.

Responsibilities

- Complete functional assessments with participants in their homes and community environments.
- Set meaningful, person‑centred goals informed by real‑life routines and support needs.
- Provide recommendations for environmental modifications across home, school and work settings.
- Identify and prescribe appropriate Assistive Technology to support independence.
- Collaborate with families, support coordinators and the wider team to ensure smooth service delivery.

Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Proven ability to work independently in a community setting.
- Proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
- Robust communication and relationship building skills.
- Genuine passion for supporting people with disability.
