We are looking for a full‑time cleaner to join our growing team at Marsden State School. This is a split‑shift position, working 4 am‑8 am and 2 pm‑6 pm, five days a week.

About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable cleaner to join our team in a permanent, full‑time capacity. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and sanitising classrooms, offices, and common areas, including windows, desks, and floors.
- Maintaining and cleaning toilet facilities, sick bays, and other hygiene‑sensitive areas.
- Disposing of rubbish and ensuring litter control across the school grounds.
- Performing security tasks such as locking and unlocking buildings and managing security systems.
- Reporting safety or maintenance concerns to the Principal or Business Manager.
About You
- Previous cleaning experience in a school or similar workplace.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills for liaising with school staff and reporting concerns.
- A positive and proactive attitude towards work.
