About You
As a School Support Officer (Level 4) , you will be an integral member of the school community, you will demonstrate Trinity Catholic College's values and professional standards in interacting with students, staff, parents and the community. You will have strong knowledge, experience and skills in school administration, and experience working in a Sydney Catholic School is highly desirable. You will assist specifically with improving school attendance. You must be able to demonstrate:
- strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills and ability to deal sensitively with students, parents/carers and staff when required
- excellent organisational skills including the ability to work effectively in a busy environment, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- experience working in administration
- experience in working with Compass
- experience in the continuing improvement of student attendance
- success in tracking and reporting on student attendance
- regular communication with parents and staff to support student attendance
- ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team
- advanced computer literacy skills (MS Office and Google suite)
- accuracy and attention to detail
- proven ability to recognise confidential issues as they arise and to treat them with the sensitivity required
- a willingness to support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural setting for students
- a willingness to perform other duties as directed by the Principal.
