About the Role:
We’re looking for a reliable, capable and friendly Receptionist/ Administration Assistant to join a professional office environment. You will provide all-round general reception and administration support so flexibility, positivity and a desire for variety are a must.
Applications from people early in their career ventures with solid employment within retail, childcare etc and seeking to move into an administration role are also encouraged to apply – Ideally you will have made this decision several months ago and enrolled in or completed a Certificate in Business Administration through TAFE.
We are looking to finalise and appointment now with a January start date.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Answer all incoming calls as the first point of contact and direct accordingly.
- Process and data entry of supplier orders and invoices.
- Liaise with suppliers about the invoice payment cycle.
- Record maintenance – manual & electronic filing.
- Taking and processing of meeting minutes.
- Process all incoming and outgoing mail.
- Maintenance & ordering of stationery.
- Maintenance and tidying of office & kitchen.
Your skills and experience:
- Strong customer service skills, ethical standards and sense of loyalty.
- High level personal presentation.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy – Particularly with data entry.
- Sound computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook).
- Be self-motivated and have the ability to use common sense and initiative.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new tasks quickly and to work autonomously.
