Production Operator - Rotating shifts

Join James Hardie as a Production Operator operating concrete mixing, stacking and splitting machines on day and night shifts.

Shift Pattern

Rotating 4 on 4 off: 2 x 12hr day shifts 6am‑6pm, 2 x 12hr night shifts 6pm‑6am.

Responsibilities

- Operate concrete mixing, stacking and splitting machines.
- Set up and install molds and machine fixtures.
- Set grinding and cutting edges.
- Carry out work safely in accordance with WHS procedures.
- Ensure process efficiencies are achieved and maintained.
- Ensure production is in line with the specified schedule.
- Ensure product quality meets relevant specifications and perform process checks.
- Actively participate in improvement projects.
- Perform manual handling tasks.
- Be adaptable and adaptable to shift work.




- Comply with all WHS safety practices and procedures.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a quality assurance environment.
- Valid forklift license up to 8 tonne.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Knowledge and understanding of workplace safety.
- Ability to use computers for entry and retrieval of process data and machine operation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Successful candidates must undertake a pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
