Your Role
As a Painter–Graffiti Removalist, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the presentation of City assets across both public and private spaces. You’ll be responsible for removing graffiti from a range of surfaces including painted areas, markers, chalk and stickers using techniques such as colour-matched paint-outs, chemical removal, high-pressure cleaning, and the scraping of stickers and posters. Reporting to the Supervisor, you’ll help ensure our city stays clean, safe and welcoming for the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, paint and colour-match City and private assets as part of graffiti removal.
- Use chemical and paint-out techniques to safely and effectively remove graffiti.
- Identify, document and report graffiti incidents, ensuring timely removal.
- Support scheduling and provide practical advice on best-practice painting and graffiti removal methods.
