About the Opportunity

As a Personal Care Assistant (Living Support Partner) you will be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team committed to creating a welcoming, professional and caring environment for the residents of St Vincent’s Care Kangaroo Point. You will provide direct care and assistance to residents with all activities of daily living, partner with them to support their daily routine, lifestyle and choices, and ensure they feel safe, valued, respected and engaged. This position works as an effective household member under supervision, caring for residents in a specific household while delivering professional, caring and efficient execution of required duties.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care and assistance to residents with all activities of daily living. Partner with residents to support their daily routine, lifestyle and choices. Ensure residents feel secure, valued, respected and engaged. Work as a supervised household member, assisting and supporting resident wellbeing through professional, caring and efficient execution of required duties.

Qualifications

- Flexible to do any shifts during weekdays, especially AM and PM shifts (minimum 3 days per week). No weekend shifts available at this stage.
- Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar qualifications essential.
- 6 months+ experience in a similar role with residential aged care experience highly regarded.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Experience with Autumn Care (or similar software) with ability to maintain excellent records.
- Understanding of Aged Care, resident rights/responsibilities with ability to follow the care plan.
- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC).




- NDIS Worker Screening Check will be a requirement of this role.
