Role Details

Reporting to the Underground Supervisor, you will operate underground haul trucks safely and efficiently, meeting operational requirements.

This role follows an 8 days on/6 days off, 7 nights on/7 nights off roster and is FIFO from Perth or DIDO from local surrounding communities.

Responsibilities

- Ensure Zero Harm is achieved by actively identifying and reporting hazards using the site hazard reporting system
- Attend all designated rostered days, arrive fit for work and punctually for shift start times




- Work collaboratively with other team members
- Demonstrate excellent housekeeping standards. Ensure awareness of location within the mine and radio calls are maintained to ensure a continual smooth truck cycle is maintained.
- Attend all pre-starts and report all activities accurately to Pitram including loading location and nature of material

Qualifications

- Valid WA C Class licence (minimum requirement)
- High commitment to safety in the workplace
- Interest in commencing a career within the mining industry
- Exposure to machinery and care of mobile mechanical equipment would be an asset
- Apply First Aid ticket is desirable
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
