The Lodge Maintenance Host plays a key role in ensuring our lodges deliver an outstanding, seamless experience for every guest.
THE ROLE
Responsibilities
- Acting as the point of contact with the Lodge Maintenance Manager (Broome‑based) to address infrastructure issues.
- Performing general maintenance, including basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and groundskeeping.
- Weekly supply run including loading, unloading and driving the supply truck on 4WD tracks.
- Hosting guests, including assisting with breakfast and dinner service, bar duties, and kitchen tasks.
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in guest accommodation and public areas.
- Ensuring guest safety and adhering to OHS legislation.
- Working on a 21 days on / 7 days off roster during the operational season (May to September) with an additional day off during your 3 weeks on.
Requirements
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (WA or nationally recognised) or WA Approved Managers ticket.
- Basic Food Safety Certificate.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- Access to a reliable 4WD vehicle (for travel on RDOs).
- A Medium Rigid licence.

- Leadership experience and strong administrative skills.
- Experience in Food & Beverage or a customer service environment.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and anticipating guest needs.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, resourcefulness, and adaptability.
- Impeccable attention to detail and excellent time management.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with cultural awareness and respect.
- A warm, welcoming personality and a proactive, can‑do attitude.
