- Remuneration : $58.95 – $60.86 per hour + Annual Leave Loading + Superannuation

About the Role

Drug Health Services (DHS) aims to reduce the harms associated with substance use for individuals, families and communities and to prevent drug misuse. Our mission is to deliver evidence‑based, patient‑centred care in collaboration with other health and non‑health partners to improve health outcomes.

In this role, you will:

- Provide senior clinical leadership within Social Work service provision, optimising patient/client care delivery.
- Support mentorship and development of staff, including supervision and direction to Level 1/2 staff and students on clinical placements in accordance with the award.
- Provide a short‑term, community‑based linkage service for drug & alcohol clients.
- Work 2 days a week as a job share (preferable Thursday/Friday) in a small multidisciplinary team comprising 2 Social Workers (Level 3) and 1 Clinical Nurse Consultant (Grade 1).

Ideal Candidate

- Hold a Bachelor or postgraduate degree in Social Work that provides eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers, with a current NSW driver’s licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).




- Advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience at Level 2 or higher.
- Ability to independently problem‑solve, applying professional and ethical boundaries when working with complex situations as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to initiate, lead, complete and evaluate quality improvement initiatives and/or research focused on patient/client outcomes.
