We’re excited to announce we are opening expressions ofinterests for an Office Coordinator – RetirementLiving to join our Estate team at the Air Force Memorial Estate in Bull Creek. In this role, you’ll be the welcoming face of the estate, supporting residents, membersand prospective residents with reception and administrationservices, coordinating leasing and admissions, and helping ensureour community continues to thrive.
About the Air Force Memorial Estate:
Established in 1973, Air Force Memorial Estate (AFME) is set on11 hectares of prime land inBullCreekwith landscaped gardens and beautiful parklandswith a picturesque lake nestled amongst shady gum trees. The resortstyle facilities enable residents to continue living independently,whilst enjoying their retirement being as relaxed or adventurous asthey choose. There is a mixture of 163 retirement living apartmentsas well as older style units which, over the next ten years, willbe replaced with contemporary accommodation apartments.
This role as an Office Coordinator – RetirementLiving will see you:
- Accountable for coordinating and prioritising alladministrative requirements for residents and provideleadership and direction to the administrative team.
- Distribute and respond where appropriate to internal andexternal written,
verbal and telephone correspondence.
- Assist the Estate Manager in the day to day running of theestate and provide leadership and direction as required.
- Maintain accurate databases of residents, clients andprospective clients.
- Accountable for prioritising all leasing, rental andwaitlist and requirements, engaging with all prospective newresidents coordinate leasing and rentals within the Estate,ensuring occupancy targets are maintained.
- Prepare contracts for new residents and guide them throughadmissions process in consultation with the EstateManager.
- Coordinate scheduled unit maintenance tasks in conjunctionwith stakeholders.
- Monitor the Emergency call system during core businesshours and attend emergency call outs to residents ifrequired.
- Seek to identify and embed process improvements in linewith our continuous improvement culture.

About you:
- Qualification or significant experience in administrationsupport.
- Experience working in retirement living (desirable).
- Knowledge of the Retirement Living Act (WA) isadvantageous.
- Property leasing experience is preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word,Outlook, Publisher, Power Point).
- Strong communication (written, verbal and listening) andinterpersonal skills to build effective relationships.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Resident-focused approach with outstanding customer serviceskills.
- Robust organisational skills and time managementabilities.
