THE FIRM This boutique Melbourne law firm is well-known for its excellence in family law and has built a strong reputation for client care and professionalism. Working closely with the Managing Partner and Senior Associate, this role offers the opportunity to be part of a supportive, high-performing team with exposure to quality work.
THE ROLE As a Family Law Snr Legal Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the firm's leadership and ensuring matters are managed effectively from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include:
- Working files across a range of family law matters
- Liaising directly with clients and external stakeholders
- Preparing and drafting legal documents and correspondence
- Ensuring files are up-to-date and deadlines are met
- Supporting the Managing Partner and Senior Associate with case management
ABOUT YOU The ideal candidate will have:
- Prior paralegal or legal assistant experience [preferably 2 years]; you must have family law experience
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines
- Excellent communication and client liaison skills
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach to file management
