Working remotely, this role is a great opportunity to take ownership of complex loan scenarios and play a key role in building a high-performing team executing credit assessments, compliance, and client strategies.

- Strategy & Scenarios: Work alongside our expert Brokers to prepare and review comprehensive loan advice and strategy documents.
- Lender Collaboration: Workshop difficult credit scenarios with brokers and lenders, and handle Mortgage Intermediary Requests (MIRs) with lenders and clients (requesting LPS to send emails as needed).

- Information Gathering: Liaise with the Broker and Client Services Manager (CSM) to gather any additional information required for the application (with the CSM managing client follow‑up).
- Query Management: Handle any complex credit questions received from clients.
- Quality Control: Review details on approval letters, ensuring all terms and conditions are correct, and review the final application before giving the LPS the go‑ahead to submit application documents.
- Handover: Prepare the completed file for a smooth handover to the LPS for post‑submission management.

2. Team Contribution & Process Excellence

In this role, you will drive operational efficiency and growth of the Credit Analyst team:

- Coaching & Mentoring: Conduct and coach the team on complex policy interpretation and advanced client communication, including conflict resolution techniques.
- Credit Judgment: Guide team members in applying nuanced credit judgment and commercial sense in their decision‑making.
- Strategic Problem‑Solving: Workshop difficult credit scenarios and structures that other staff members struggle with, and provide assistance with declined applications.
- Risk & Compliance: Train the team on emerging fraud and risk patterns and manage escalations for high‑risk files.

- Template Development: Develop best‑practice templates and strategies for efficient query resolution and lender negotiation.
