Salvos Stores is seeking talented, values‑driven Casual Sales Assistants to support day‑to‑day operations at our stores in and around Townsville.
This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a mission enterprise that funds over one million sessions of care for disadvantaged Australians each year.
Key Responsibilities
- Retail sales and operation of Point of Sale devices
- Sort, price and prepare donations for sale
- Assist in the development and coordination of visual merchandising and store presentation
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Display stock in correct departments following policy and procedure
- Follow Occupational Health and Safety policy and procedures
- Demonstrate TSA core values in all work‑related activities
About You
- Retail sales experience – highly regarded but not essential
- Robust customer service skills
- Genuine passion and ability to deliver outstanding results
- Alignment with our values of integrity, respect, compassion, collaboration, and diversity
- High energy, hands‑on individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility to work a rolling roster including weekends and readiness to work across various retail locations in the area
