Key Responsibilities
- Perform general mechanical repairs, maintenance, and servicing on a variety of vehicles
- Inspect engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and other essential components
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools
- Conduct road tests and ensure all vehicles meet manufacturer and safety standards
- Replace or repair worn and defective parts with precision and care
- Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
- Ensure all work complies with occupational health and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean, well-organised workshop
Qualifications & Experience
- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy workshop workplace
- Sound understanding of workplace safety and quality standards
- Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship
