Skilled Casual Labourer
Immediate start
We are currently seeking an experienced skilled labourer to join our hard-working repairs and maintenance team at our Brooklyn based depot in Melbourne on a casual basis (40Hrs a week). We are currently servicing the public transport sector with a variety of small to med sized maintenance jobs at various sites across central Melbourne in an on call and scheduled capacity. The set days of work will be Monday to Friday with the possibility of extra days when required/ needed and the ability to work the occasional nights. Required for immediate start.
- Negotiable salary + super ($30-$35)

Your role
Currently we require a labourer to work using power tools to assist with our ongoing contract to do maintenance for Yarra Trams. You will be working outdoors on the road where safety is essential and attention to detail is imperative.
To be considered for this position you must have previous experience working as a labourer with the majority of the following skills:
- Able to work with power tools (Jack hammer, grinder, and other handheld power tools)
- Basic concreting
- Basic painting skills
- Able to do the occasional night works (non negotiable)
- Ensuring adherence to local job site safety rules and regulations with previous OH&S; Industry knowledge (essential)
- Current Driver’s License (essential) and White card (preferred)
- Professional, clean and tidy
- Excellent communication written and spoken skills
- Positive time management skills
- Works well autonomously
- Can do attitude and ability to solve problems which arise in day to day jobs
