Your next career chance
As a Research Partnerships Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing research activities within the Faculty of Science. You will provide expert advice on research costing and pricing, facilitate approvals, and contribute to initiatives that increase research engagement and income. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with academic and professional staff, ensuring compliance and driving strategic research goals.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide Authoritative Advice: Offer guidance on research grant costing and pricing, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external sponsor requirements .
- Coordinate Research Processes: Manage faculty-level processes related to research infrastructure funding and support research metrics analysis.
- Build Effective Relationships: Develop strong connections with academic and professional staff, becoming a trusted point of contact.
- Support Operational Strategies: Lead the coordination of events, seminars, and workshops to enhance research quality and impact.

You are an experienced professional with a background in research, and will bring a problem-solving mindset, working collaboratively as a supportive team player who thrives in academic environments , skilled at managing stakeholder relationships and driving continuous improvement, with a strong focus on service excellence and attention to detail.
You may also:
- Have a tertiary degree or equivalent experience in research administration.
- Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information succinctly.
- Demonstrate solid data analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Be experienced in managing stakeholders and working collaboratively across boundaries.
- Have knowledge of university research systems and experience in training and event coordination.
