Competitive salary and benefits
- Salary range: $210,332 to $266,677 p.a. (L18-L27)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
- Relocation expenses may be offered at time of appointment
- Attraction and retention incentive allowance (50% base salary)
- Motor vehicle allowance between $21,000 and $25,500 p.a.
- Professional development allowance of $21,500 p.a. + 3.6 weeks p.a. leave
About your opportunity:
- Provide comprehensive Paediatric Intensive Care services across a wide range of pathologies and patient age within the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit.
- Work within the team charter of Paediatric Intensive Care to build a collegiate team and happy workplace.
- Provide professional leadership in respect of the Paediatric Intensive Care Department activities and in particular, your specialty team(s).
- Manage the delivery of patient care in the area of Paediatric Intensive Care including management of complex clinical situations.
- Enthusiastic involvement in our education programme and the teaching & mentoring of junior consultants, medical trainees, medical students, nursing & allied health staff and trainees.

- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
